Guest
Do you mean how many customers at the same time in store? This has nothing to do with osC but with your hosting server The_Bear
RND
Thanks for your early reply. :) ok I have one more question, what kind of hosting do I need for a large user base, for a special gift site to make purcahses for the clients etc. ? I am thinking about dedicated server but do you have any specification?
agiftcodotcom
Dedicated server is rather expensive to 'start' a site on. You could always transfer to a dedicated later. If you know you are going to have the volume to support it, I would say go ahead, otherwise, try shared first. Look around, some hosts even offer OSC with click/install simplicity. Make sure the host you get offers SQL databases and SSL protection with the account.
