remmeer Posted June 2, 2004 Share Posted June 2, 2004 I realize that this is an incredibly basic question to ask but could someone give very step-by-step instructions on how to install contributions? I have looked at a couple of contributions. They appear to be "tar," which I undestand is similar to being "zipped." Do I first download the tar file to my computer, then uploaded the tar file to my web host? If so, where (which directory) should I upload it to? Once it has been uploaded, how to I "untar" it? Is there some type of "readme" or instructions that are in the tar file that explains where the contribution/modification should go? Thanks.
