Adding TAX to the checkout

Hi,

 

I need a little help on making the tax appear on the checkout.

 

I think I've amended everything correctly in admin.

 

But still the tax (VAT) @17.5% still doesn't show up whilst going through the checkout.

 

Any ideas??

I had this problem originally, and I think you will probably find that this is to do with your Tax Zones setting.

 

In the Admin panel go to Tax Zones.

There are 3 buttons on the left.

Select the 'Details' button. It should bring up a page with headings 'Country and Zone'. If it does not say United Kingdom in there (if there is anything else delete it/them). Now select 'Insert'.

In the new window choose 'United Kingdom' from the drop down liat.

 

It should now work.
