loyalrogue Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 Does anyone know if it's possible to have multiple levels of pricing for the same item according to a login and password. Example: Depending on password, visitor will either be shown the wholesale or the retail price for the items in the catalog. If this has already been answered before, please show me the thread that I missed. Thank you.
gazzzzzza Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 i too am looking for a similar thing. the only way i have thought of doing this is to apply a discount during checkout process depending on what the 'discount' variable is set to. (discount variable is not in existence by default, i mean to add this into the customers table) but this would not show throughout the site, it would just apply it to the final price. im sure there must be a better way... always here to offer some useless advice....
loyalrogue Posted June 5, 2004 Author Posted June 5, 2004 It looks like I found a contribution that might do the trick. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,716 Now I just have to figure out how to install it.
hereticam Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 If anyone has used the "Seperate Pricing Per Customer" contribution that was linked, I would very much like hear what their experience was. Thank you very much.
Guest Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 I have used and recommend the Xprices contribution. Matti
