Guest Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 I've been trying to install category description contribution for about a month now. I've been getting parse error, even though I do exactly the instruction said to do. I am not familier with php coding/programing (whatever you call it), and I am not sure how these program count # of lines. I supposed to have parse error on line 607. Do you count only the lines that have something on it? Or do you also count blank lines too? Because I cannot find any parse eoor in line 607 that I can find in php editor.
bobthelucky Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 start at the top every line is counted even blank ones even commented out ones each line is a line. for parse errors most times it is out of balance quotes either single or double count your quotes man orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr replace the whole page with one that doesnt have an error from the complete catalog folder you downloaded to your home comp before you started messing around. now if u didnt do that then ask for the page in question email me i have all the orginal pages i can e mail it to you
