keviny
ups.php,v 1.54 2003/04/08 23:23:42 dgw_ Exp $ No changes on my website, the ups module just stopped working. My customers are getting this message "An error occured with the UPS shipping calculations. No RAVE Server connection established If you prefer to use UPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner." looks like the script goes to www.ups.com/using/services/rave/qcostcgi.cgi? to get the rates. sailin
I have the same issue. UPS site was down. I sent the exact request string and got that answer. About 3 minutes ago, it went back online, though slow. An issue for use might be what to do if UPS does fail, since UPS is our only shipping module. Better to estimate somehow and keep the transaction.

ari
I am now getting a new error wit the UPS module -- any ideas? "The requested service is invalid from the selected origin." The module is working fine from my dev machine. My host tried checking out and claims to have seen the different UPS shipping options, so I am confused, what is the origin in this case, my office network or the server? The shipping module is using this URL to post its data - http://www.ups.com/using/services/rave/qcostcgi.cgi? can someone show me how to post a complete request so that I can test it from a browser?
