What is the best/most cost effective way of getting hits? Is it best to pay a promotion company to do all off the meta tag and page optimization and if so which companies actually offer a good service instead of ripping the client off? Other than that, meta tags, listings, spiders and all those things have been discussed in this forum and the wiki a zillion times before. ASDCO Posted June 1, 2004 Share Posted June 1, 2004 Go to top sites selling your product line and view page source there metas,this will give you an idea of what others are using.Also go to google and apply your site data(its free) and find some free spider pages for your catalog.Link other sites to your catalog,the more the better.You start with 1 link(oscommerce heheh)Other than that,it gets pretty complicated.
