Guest Posted June 1, 2004 Share Posted June 1, 2004 I am a new user for the system, so, forgive me if this issue has been discussed before. It seems to me that osCommerce only allows Shipping Methods' (Flat/Table/UPS/USPS) availability to be assigned on a store-wide case. What we need for our store is to assign different methods for different products. (We have some special shipping deals for SOME of our products, but for the rest, UPS turns out to be the method we and the customers would prefer). Is this possible? Also, we sometimes do promotions by offering free shipping. However, when we set the weight to 0, (osCommerce special is only applicable on Price), we got UPS error and customer get stuck on check out. Is there a more elegant way to do this? Another Question: Anyone know how to setup a flat rate for a certain products? Example: Product A: regular UPS pricing only - as long as you put weight.
