mark754 Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 I'm using Links Manager v1.0 successfully, with one problem. When a site submits a link, if their hyperlinked image is too large, it causes the formatting of the links page to extend beyond the page width of 750px we are using. Is there a way to restrict the size of the hyperlinked image so that it is resized to display properly on our links page? Or is the only solution to instruct these webmasters that their hyperlinked images must be the appropriate width or less? Thanks. Quote

mark754 Posted June 1, 2004 Author Posted June 1, 2004 the image size for links can be set in the admin panel under configuration and under links There is no setting for links in my admin panel under config. Apparently, this was removed when I installed Links Manager v1.0. And there is no setting for image size under the links manager admin section. Or am I missing something? Quote
241 Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 in the admin panel left hand side under configuration near the bottom of the configuration section there should be a link to links as well as further down a links section. In the configuration links should be this: Click Count True Spider Friendly Links True Links Image Width 120 Links Image Height 60 Display Link Image 0 Display Link URL 4 Display Link Title 2 Display Link Description 3 Display Link Click Count 5 Link Title Minimum Length 2 Link URL Minimum Length 10 Link Description Minimum Length 10 Link Contact Name Minimum Length 2 Links Check Phrase Quote No longer giving free advice. mark754 Posted June 1, 2004 Author Posted June 1, 2004 (edited) That's strange. This is all that is in the config panel, under "My Store". None of the other settings you mentioned appear. Or are they somewhere else besides in "My Store"? I checked all of the other subcategories and they are not anywhere to be found. Maybe my installation is faulty... mikey boy Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 I found this to be odd too. The image controls for your site Links are split between the Links Manager & the Image Settings. A bit strange if you ask me! But it works & works well. BTW, doese anyone know how to put your images/url on the links page so that others can link to you? This is defintiely something I can't find.
