Hi

I use the jpg image file for my product and upload to osC and found out that the there is no image on the pop-up window when you click the click to enlarge link in the product-info page.

Can anyone care to explain what was going wrong? How to solve this problem.

Anyone please help me.

Please supply a URL of a page on your store where we can see the problem for ourselves. There are many possible causes for this, and it would help to be able to examine the page.

Hi steve,

I don't have them on web as I am still working on it. I am using windows xp and apache 2 to work on. I just installed a fresh osC MS2 and the problem remains...

What is the cause? It baffles me...

Ok, right click on the "click to enlarge" link, select Copy Shortcut, and paste the results here.

Looking at the default store, I don't see why you would get a broken image on the "enlarged" popup and not on the main page.

Hi Steve,

I have found out the reason why. There is nothing wrong with the code and strangely the pop out windows did not wish to show certain .jpg or .jpeg files. I tried to upload 5 .jpg files and only 2 .jpg files worked okay and the rest not.

It makes me wonder why.....

Is there no image at all, or is it a "broken picture" image? It could be that your JPG files got corrupted while uploading - try uploading them again, being sure that you do so in binary, not ASCII mode.

I'm having a similar problem on Noteworthy Music Stands. Files uploaded through osC. Thumbnails created and display properly. When viewing an image directly, the image displays just fine. But, when I view the source on the popup window, it doesn't seem any info was passed to tell it what image file to load. This is a clean install.

Calculate Image Size causes the file to be read and the size of the actual picture used. This improves display of the page as the browser knows where the picture is to load. You don't need it, but you will see the page jump around as it loads. I have no trouble with it on my own site.
