I was stuck here, there are 2 packages to download, please someone can help. which to download. windows or linux. I am using windows in my system but the platform of my webhosting is using linux. Please guide me. Thank you Hi, Another database newbie here. (I do html and some programming, so I'm not a tech know-nothing, but I *am* a database know-nothing. And although I used to do some BSD UNIX stuff, I am *not* yet familiar with how *X is integrated into my new Mac G4--I've just finally gotten back to the Mac after being in exile on Windows for several years.) I've just searched through the archive on "macintosh + platform", learned a lot, but this was the only question that was close to my issue, and I still don't get it, so here goes.... Does "running linux" include Mac OSX? That is, do I just download the linux version to my Mac and install? Or do I need linux running separately? or what?
