I want to get rid of default setup of the osCommerce project index, but when I try to it gives me an error that says

Parse error: parse error in /home/daysisvi/public_html/store/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 13

Any help would be welcomed!

the minimum to leave for the define with no text is this

define('TEXT_MAIN', '');

you can place what you want between the quotes but remember to escape and apostrophes with a backslash

define('TEXT_MAIN', 'what ever you want in here but let\'s remember to escape the apostrophe with a backslash as shown');

No longer giving free advice. Please place deposit in meter slot provided.  Individual: [=] SME: [==] Corporation: [===]
If deposit does not fit one of the slots provided then you are asking too much! :P

Is your Osc dated try Phoenix  raising oscommerce from the ashes.

Do not edit PHP files with Frontpage. It will leave an extra space after the closing tag <?

and that will cause the parse errors.
