vee Posted May 30, 2004 Share Posted May 30, 2004 Hi, I'm developing this simple adult toy shop (WARNING - mild adult stuff, best not viewed from work :)) http://www.discreetvibes.com/catalog/index.php I've heard quite a few comments related to adult toy shops regarding "information overload", "too much detail", "its all pink with flashing hearts", "tacky porn images" etc. so I'm trying a simple version. I would try to move the center content over to the right a little so it doesn't cover so much of the left image (if you can) Otherwise looks awesome. Nice, simple, clean layout & easy to navigate. We hope to go-live end July, early August (after hols) and after we have finished selecting and adding hundreds of items to Easypoulate! Sales will be UK only initially, to test how it goes. The Reamer - I chose this as my first product as it is actually modelled on a real penis, not like some of the smaller models that you see on sale :D Grateful for any more comments, particularly any ladies (with respect to the "simple" layout). AfterDark Posted June 1, 2004 Share Posted June 1, 2004 For what its worth, I just finished design and usability testing on 3 different layouts of an adult product site, and while I like your idea for a simple design, it will not fair overly well as a live application.
