STS tag items missing on Checkout pages

Everythng is working fine, except that every page which is part of the checkout doesn't display the contents of any sts tag apart from the search box.

 

When i look at the source i see empty tagged fields like:

 

<!-- start mycategory //-->

 

<!-- end mycategory //-->

 

I've gone through all pages related to the search box to figure out whats different about it which makes the box show and not all others.

 

Very weird.

 

If you don't understand what i mean, then please goto http://dbexchange.net/skynet_store/ and add an Apple PowerMac to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout.

 

You will need to make a login ofcourse, but the store is not operational and N

NOTHING will be prcessed on my end.

 

Should i post temporary login details? Let me know.

It seems like i've missed something out when inserting my own static navigation box because i've done a test by inserting $categorybox into the template file and it displays without a problem.

 

Does anyone know exactly what needs to go into which file so you can finally put something like $mybox into the sts template file?

 

If someone can tell me how it should be done, or how they have done it, then i can find out where i went wrong.

 

NOTE: I'm a complete newbie when it comes to PHP. :)
