ask your host about htaccess, search the contributions for htaccess, also there are admin login contributions. remember, search is your best friend, use it to your avail and until you are past blue in the face

the admin access with levels contribution is a good method or you should be able to to set an .htaccess file on the directory through the control panel supplied by your host, if a protection method is not offered via the control panel supplied by your host then I would be looking for another host.

yeah, I guess your right. For the time being i try to instal Admin Authentication for 2.2-CVS but i have some problems with it. I get a warning message and an fatal error.

Warning: main(DIR_WS_INCLUDESauthen.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /opt/guide/www.nettoshop.nl/HTML/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 14

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'DIR_WS_INCLUDESauthen.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /opt/guide/www.nettoshop.nl/HTML/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 14

I am searching the dbase for an answer so i can secure my admin until i know if my host supplies htacces.

thanks for the tip,

:D

looks like a path cannot be found through DIR_WS_INCLUDES

maybe a missing define or a wrong define
