Guest Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 Hi there, After viewing as many post possibly related to this, now it is time to put my cry for help or 'Hilfeschrei' for the creators of osCommerce. This is with Authorize.Net in test mode. Last night I got so fed up, that I finally deleted my already partly created shopping cart with my provider and than did a clean install, all my settings lost. But after all of this and than again ugrading with Austin Renfroe's version 1.7, i still get the error below: 'There was an error processing your credit card (33): Freight is required.' Is there a setting in the shipping module I overlooked, I have a setup with UPS, did a manual weight oriented setup. USPS have username and code with them, but they module does not work either. So I used UPS for my test, used the Authorize.Net test#. Username ok, obtained new transaction code with no results, my virtyual terminal works fine, tryed it with freigt clicked on or off. MycURL path is not compiled and the path is /usr/bin/curl Any suggestions, please, excuse my english I am not a native Thanks Wolfgang
fiodh Posted June 2, 2004 Posted June 2, 2004 Yes, I think I know what this is, I had a similar error asking for "33-3 invoice required". I searched everywhere, and found the answer in the forum deeply buried. It is not exactly your oscommerce that's causing the problem. the error code 33 from Auth.net means that they are looking for a field in the POST string you have sent them. Go into your Auth.net control panel, (secure.authorize.net) and change settings/payment-form/form-fields settings, disabling the "(your field here) field required" checkbox Good luck, Drew www.mastersjewel.com www.fiodh.com
Guest Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 Andrew, Thank you and yes I finally figured it out, it was a freight setting that still was clicked on not in the terminal settings, but in one of the reply forms in the Authorize.net. I ran a real card through (my wife's) and just ordered some items from the default store, since I was not about to set up my store again, without the proper works. Everything went perfect. I am going life if I get all my plants in on June 15th. Thanks again, One Happy German in America Wolfgang My Webpage
