Can I remove images from main categories?

I want to keep the images for each product on their specific pages (when their link is clicked). However, when someone clicks one of the categories and it brings up a list of the items in that category, I don't want any images.

Some items have images, some don't, and it looks stupid with only having half of them. I originally resized the small image to 1x1 but then there's no image on the product info page either.

What page (if any) would I modify to take the images out of the main listings? I looked through the forums for "remove images", but nothing was close to what I want to do. Any help would be appreciated.

In the admin panel under configuration and then images, change the one that says "image required" to false. If you want an image, you can still add them, but it makes it so they aren't required...

Right, but that doesn't stop the images I DO upload from showing on that specific page. I've got the "require images" set to false, so I don't NEED to upload one.

I've got about 7500 items, half with an image, half without.

I only want the images to show when the customer clicks the link to the product info page. I don't want the images to show when someone clicks on which category they want to shop. What I don't know is which page the category lists is, to edit it.

I see...I don't think I know how to do what you're asking. But, if you turn "require images" to false, that will allow you a pic if you want one, and show nothing if you don't want one for anyplace there's a pic.
