T. Raven Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 I have the same problem, order confirmation emails have the wrong time stamp. Did you get an answer? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its a long time ago, do you mean the time stamp for the orders or for the complete site. ? Just to be sure we talk about the same
Guest Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 I meant for the order confirmation/details email.
charly Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 I also have same problem UK sites running on US server all times in orders. visiotrs etc all us time and very confusing for the owner . heres my thread http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=112124&hl= heres the answer i got In your osCommerce 'admin' section, go to Tools -> Define Languages -> english.php and look for this line close to the top @setlocale(LC_TIME, 'en_US.ISO_8859-1'); You'll need to change this for the UK - sorry don't know the exact setting for that myself. You can also, while there, change the date format from the american month/day/year to the british day/month/year, by altering all references to mm/dd/yyyy or m/d/y to dd/mm/yyyy or d/m/y. Make sure to changes all references to it, even in the settings used for the create_account page (which are in the same Define Languages->english.php page). Ok so souinds simple my problem now is i dont know what it would be forsetting for the UK have a look guys see if thsi helps and let us know Charly Charly My fav site Spend most my cash there dont tell the wife:-)
Guest Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Hi Charly, from the information you have just given me, I would hazzard a guess that the code should slightly change to the following: @setlocale(LC_TIME, 'en_UK.ISO_8859-1'); I have made the change in my english.php file, and I am keeping my fingers crossed.
