Do you guys find increase in sales after displaying this logos? Currently they have 2 logo to display 1. Trust Logo 2. GraphicsGuy Posted May 28, 2004 Share Posted May 28, 2004 I use a cert from Thawte and they have a similar program. Usage of the seals is included in the cert. (Better be at the price of brand name certs!) My Urchin reports do show some activity of people clicking on the link on the checkout page. I think there are two classes of online shoppers. Those that are very cautious and do check the credentials of a site before entering their credit card info. And those that are too trusting or unaware. Sadly, those in the latter category eventually get a very jolting lesson in why they should have been in the former category. Anyway, I think the value of trust seal depends on how much extra (if any) it will cost you, and who your target shoppers are. Pretty much the same factors that go into deciding what brand of cert to get. Just my humble opinion. Rule #1: Without exception, backup your database and files before making any changes to your files or database. Rule #2: Make sure there are no exceptions to Rule #1.
