assign, add and attach new class in styleshet

hi,

if i want to change only the color scheme, font size of the left category menu, i know that i need to create a new class in stylesheet. i already did that. the only hing i dont know that where can i assign that. please understand, i just need to change the stylesheet of the left category box. right now it suses same class as of all rest of the links etc.....

 

second part: i want to have a different rollover color for that category box too. how doi assign that. how do i do that in sylesheet and how do i do that in the categorries file.

 

please also tell me the files where each class is being called and where.

 

i have read the whole stylesheet section in wikki docs but doesnt help me to change an individual style for that box

sounds like you need a good WYSIWYG editor like dreamweaverMX which will provide visual editing for your style sheet, not to mention break the code into a more readable structure.
