saleem145 Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Hello, I am setting up my store to accept payments via credit card payments 2checkout. When testing the setup I get the following error message -- Error: Credit cards numbers passed over an insecure channel. Please alert seller immediately. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?? Also another question I have is do I need to set the redirection URL and other parameters from the 2checkout control panel. If so to what do they need to be set?? Thanks, Saleem
Guest Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 I have the same problem - just occurred in the last few days after weeks of successful operations. It must be being generated by 2CO chnages so I've emailed them for help and will let you know the outcome - maybe need to upgrade the page in OSC where credit card details are taken, to a SSL (https) type page. I don't know how to do this as I'm not an expert (is there such a thing anyway?)- I'm a retailer not a programmer. Unfortunately, these guys sell these things then leave you to get on with it! Imagine buying a half built car, then being told to just figure it out! It's a bit like that.
Guest Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 A customer of mine told me they had that problem to. Let me know what you find out.
vasttech Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 You all need to get an SSL Certificate for your site if you do not have one. If you have one then you need to set ENABLE_SSL to true in configure.php. That is what the error is telling you. osCommerce Knowledge Base osCommerce Documentation Contributions
