Create Account Feature Help

Hi all,

 

I have always offered discounts to members of an organization, and in all my old sites have manually added it to the order total after manually verifying with the organization that the membership number is indeed valid, and that it belongs to the person registering.

 

I was hoping that with using the Credit Class/Discount/Gift Voucher system and with a few mods to create_account.php I would be able to have the email send to the organization automatically, so that they can email me back personally to verify the information.

 

I need to add a check box that, when checked, shows a text input field for a member number to be entered. If that happens, and email needs to be sent to a specific address. The email needs to contain the number entered and the customers name (for verification purposes).

 

Doing this with an SQL database would be a hell of a lot easier, but their hands are tied due to privacy issues.

 

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
