Now i dont really understand what to do, i have read the documentation and it just confuses me. i am selling books that range from 0.1 to 3 kgs can someone help explain what to put in the different boxes please thanks :ph34r: Quote "because it'll hurt more"- the greatest film of all time? aburnham Posted May 31, 2004 Share Posted May 31, 2004 Hello, I've installed the shipping module called "UK Postal Rates Contribution" for Standard and Recorded delivery The first has 4 zones, and you have to edit the boxes to add the country codes and long number strings that are given in the text files. The second has 1 zone that you also have to edit. I've got that far but I can't seem to get them to display as options on screen when someone goes to the checkout. aburnham Posted May 31, 2004 Share Posted May 31, 2004 This UK shipping module doesn't seem to work with the current OSCommerce. I fixed this by going back to the zones.php supplied with OSCommerce and editing as it recommends in the comments in that file: $this->num_zones = 4; ie 4 zones. Then using the country zone values from the tables with the UK post module. Note these zones are areas of the world - different from the in-country zones such as the default Florida used elsewhere in the admin section. Confusing!
