bluepony
Not sure exactly what you mean. If you haven't installed it, then to launch the install: http://yourwebsite.com/catalog/install or http://localhost/catalog/install To launch the catalog after it's installed: http://yourwebsite.com/catalog or http://localhost/catalog I'd rather be flying! Did you get any error messages?? Did you get through all the steps? If you did have any problems where were they? The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
Guest
Hi Richard. I have 1 error.... Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/fhlinux196/1/1-stop-shop-tones.co.uk/user/htdocs/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. But what I am trying to do is find out where I go into administer the catalog setups etc and the admin, (which as directed I changed the admin foulder name)
gal1264
just go to yourhost/catalog/admin/index.php and it should come up. Hopefully you set up proper permissions in an .htaccess file so that not anyone would be able to do this. I find it helpful to install phpMyAdmin as well so you can peek in the db here and there, but make sure you limit access to these files too.
