ACE99 Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 I keep getting 2 emails for every order and it's annoying! They both go to orders@mywebsite and I've checked everything. I do have the setting in admin that says "Send extra order emails to" and I have it set to "orders@mywebsite". But that should only send one to that address. Why am I getting two?
♥Vger Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 Is this a fully active site, or one you're test running. If you're test running orders then you'll get two e-mails, one as the customer, one as the website owner. Vger

vasttech Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 Check the way your e-mail address is configured on the server. I forget what exactly causes it, but it has something to do with a forward being setup. ♥Vger Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 Do you have your e-mail accounts (on your computer) set to 'Leave a copy of e-mail on the server'? If you do, then (depending on your setup) the next time you download your e-mails you may get the copy downloaded.
