kristymichelle
I sort of have the same problem. When I installed oscommerce I checked secrued by a SSL connection. I didn't have it at the time but I knew I was going to later on. I got everything installed and asked my web host about SSL and they give me a link and say that it will show everything in my public_html folder securely. The problem is when I access the catalog/index.php file with the secure link none of my images show up. Everything shows up fine with the non-secure link. However, in both the secure and non-secure the account.php will not come up. In the secure mode the lock is in the corner but the page will not load. The admin section works great in SSL mode. I'm not sure what I have done wrong. Here is the URL in non-secure http://64.91.229.57/catalog/index.php and the secure link is https://secure.miwebdns2.com/~minkco/catalog/ By the way, I am having the shopping cart under an ip address only. It is with a different webhost than the company's site. Thanks for your help in advance!

Chinese Tea
How did you figure it out? I haven't included SSL yet and I didn't check it upon installation yet I can't create a new account.
kristymichelle
I'm not sure how to help! I had checked SSL during installation. I couldn't create an acoount. So I went ahead and enabled SSL and changed the settings in the configure.php file to work with my SSL setup. If you would like to look at my settings let me know. It works fine except I can't log off of the account! I posted a message about this problem but no one has replied yet.
