Images & Broken Links

When I finally did change the oslogo to mine, I guess I did something that broke all my links and disappeared all my images.

Please take a look and let me know what you might suggest

Can this line be the problem,

to change my logo i just replaced the default oscommerce.gif file with the one i wanted to use I didn't change the file name, just uploaded over it and it worked fine.

I'm not an expert by any means but I think editing that the way you did changed the way the program reads the images. I think it's a relative path and not the absolute path.

Change it back to the orginal and try uploading the images overtop of the ones you want to replace. osCommerce will automatically resize to the new images.

On another topic... can you help me out by posting the original includes/languages/english/index.php

I tried editing the text and received an error. Don't know what I did wrong.

If you look at the address bar when trying to link you will see what the problem is

You need to remove the url from these settings in your config file

You also have catalog in your images setting but not the catalog setting so they do not match and they need to.

I had the same (well not the same, but similar) problem... here's what's messed up:

if you view html source it says:

<base href="http://tufuente.comhttp://tufuente.com">, which means that it's getting both ssl and non ssl variables from your configure.php file. Since all the images /css links are relative, they are not getting picked up correctly.

The way I fixed my problem, is i turned off SSL support on my server (i'm not exactly sure you have the same problem, but you can try it)
