Text in automatic emails to customers

i have found the easiest way of finding out what is located where in the software, is by using a 'grep' style program. search for and download windows grep if using microsoft products, then you can specify the text you want to find and the location of the folder you want to search. it only takes a minute, maybe less to find the exact file, along with the line # of the code you want to change.

Unfortunately, the are a bunch of files in a bunch of different places that you'll need to change. This is something that needs to be improved and centralized as the current e-mails are pretty bad...

I'm probably missing some but here are the ones I know for sure...

Test for the e-mail that gets sent once order placed

catalog/includes/languages/english/checkout_success.php

Text displayed in the browser when the order is placed

catalog/includes/languages/english/checkout_process.php

Text for the e-mail sent when an account is created

catalog/includes/languages/english/create_account_success.php

Text displayed in the browser when an account is created

catalog/includes/languages/english/create_account_success.php

The text in the e-mail when status is changed and Notify_Customer is checked:

catalog/admin/includes/languages/english/order.php

Each of the files you listed are in 'includes/languages/english/'. Not sure I see the "different places"? Seem pretty centralized to me. IMHO.

I'd rather be flying!
