Basic osCommerce setup/config questions

How do I remove the "Manufacturers" drop-down option on the left column, and the "Manufacturer Info" box that shows up on the right column (when a product is being viewed)? I could not find a way in the Config settings to do this... ?

 

This is from the default configuration of osCommerce 2.2-MS2

Look at the files:

includes/column_left.php and includes/column_right.php

Simply comment out the boxes you don't want.
