stevel
First, find out if your host allows you to install your own SSL certificate, and for the procedure to do so. Some don't. You may be able to use the host's shared certificate instead. My domain registrar, RegisterFly, offers inexpensive SSL certificates. I haven't purchased one, however. Guest
I just bought one yesterday from http://ev1servers.net/ They offer GeoTrust for only $49 which is a real good deal. It retails for $149 http://dreamwayonline.com
stevel
Interesting. The $49 deal looks similar to RegisterFly's $29 certificate... It's hard to tell for sure, though. It retails for $149 http://dreamwayonline.com Yeah, a lot of hosts are beginning to sell the GeoTrust ssl for $49 a year which is a pretty good deal. No one cares who you get it from as long as the little padlock shows up. Verisign made buckets of money by trying to turn ssl into something special.
