jcurtis3 Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I need to be able to have different part numbers and prices for items with different options. As an example, we sell aircraft fittings that are basically the same, but different sizes. There are too many to make each one a different item. I want to be able to have a part called Straight Aircraft Hose Ends. When the customer click on the part, it gives them a list of the sizes. The catch is that the sizes are different part numbers and prices. Miva and Cart32 both do this easily. Is there any way to get OScommerce to do it. A free module would be great, but I'd pay for something if it would work. Thanks
Guest Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 Did you check out the product attributes function in Admin? You can add attributes to one product and show different sizes and part numbers and give a different price. Richard
jcurtis3 Posted May 24, 2004 Author Posted May 24, 2004 To install, it says, Run the master.sql file on your database . How do you do this?
safoo Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 You need to go into your servers backend and use phpmyadmin or some other similar tool to run the .sql file. usually it is called phpmyadmin but you might have to click on 'sql databases' or 'manage databases, etc. to get to it.
