Taz Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 I recently installed OSCommerce on my website through Ipower. I'm looking to change the design and I haven't got a clue how to do it ! Can anyone throw me in the right direction ??
Guest Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 :P Taz what is it exactly that you need to know, i do graphic design, some css, use dreamweaver MX and also a tad bid of phpandmySQL, am a mac user and have a bit of a disadvantge since a pc is needed to change the CHMOD (permissions on configure.php) Let me know if you want to do some networking and also send me a link to check out your site, My shopping cart is at http://www.tufuente.com/catalog/index.php Everything has gotten more complicated!
bobthelucky Posted May 23, 2004 Posted May 23, 2004 open your web broswer go yoursite.com/catalog/admin here is where some basic changes can be made under tools/files is where u can make changes in text and suff do you know how to ftp to your site? if so be sure and ftp your catalog folder in its entirety to your comp soooooooo if u mess some code up u can ftp the orginal code back and fix it pm or e mail me maybe i can get u started even though i dont know much i am happy to help you
