klauskoester
Hello, please help a newbie. I have installed OSC 2.2MS2, after that i have installed WYSIWYG HTMLArea MS2 V1.7. In the admin area in the configuration menu i saw the WYSIWYG Editor 1.7 and i am able to configure it. But there is nothing to edit HTML-Code in example for the products. Is there anybody who knows what is required for this contribution? Have I to install additional software? Thanks Klaus
phuzion
I noticed you can edit the main page with this, it would be wonderful if I was able to edit any page using this. To edit the mainpage, this can be achieved by going here: catalog/admin/define_mainpage.php Perhaps I'm overlooking something, but is it possible to edit any page using this? Acheron
Yes, you can use the editor in place of any text box, anywhere. klauskoester- MSIE 5.5+ is required I believe (or is it v6 ?) If you have no errors but the box simply isn't there, lack of the proper browser is likely your problem.
devink
I've had this issue before, it turned out to be the DEBUG value in the config was missing. Once it had a value, everything worked. But...I've just moved my site to another host, and once again it's disappeared! The Debug flag was missing again, but adding it back hasn't fixed it :( Any more suggestions? devildog6531
Everything seems to working fine except for when I click on the Define Mainpage link on the Admin side. When I click on it, it brings up the following message: Access Denied No Right Permission Access Please contact your Web Administrator to request more access or if you found any problem. Any Ideas? Thanks in adavnce <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is due to your File Permissions. Does your Host give you Cpanel? If so, go into filemanager, navigate to define_mainpage.php, click on it, click change permissions on the right top frame of file manager, change it to 777. Anyway, i have a problem with another type of permissions. I have XP SP1 and get a Code 0 javascript arror saying access is denied. Is it on my servers or my computer? This deals with when one of my clients using the WYSIWYG editor to add a product on the add image popup. Just installed it today for her. I've installed and copied everything as described in the Step by Step Installation. There's a WYSIWYG editor 1.7 item in the ADMIN/configuration where I can configure the mod. But beside that, there's nothing. No HTML editor in any text box and no item 'define mainpage' in the admin. I'm working with IE 6.0 What did I miss? Any help is appreciated very much.
