customers totals are not being sent to paypal??

customers go through the payment system and then choose to pay by paypal.....but the value of their purchase is not being sent??

 

any ideas?

Do a search on the forums for "PayPal IPN" and also for PayPal settings. I haven't experienced this problem myself, but there are a ton of posts regarding the exact phrase you used for your subject. :)

I am having the same problem. The checkout process seems to be working. But when the customer selects Paypal, it then drops them back to the Checkout Success page without going to Paypal at all. What could it be?

I Had this same problem. To solve it, I installed the paypal ipn module and spent half the day cutting and posting code and tweeking and a lil of this and that, but at the end of the day it all worked out fine. It is time consuming, but the pay off is well worth the effort.

Did you manage to resolve the problem os osc not passing the payment amount to paypal? If so can you please tell me how you did it - mine still doesnt work correctly.
