Shipping table problem

Recommended Posts

I'm having problems with getting the shipping table to calculate the correct shipping cost. Here's the table rates I have entered:

The problem is it's charging $13.99 for a 1lb item, and $0 for a 5lb item. What am I doing wrong?

In the admin section of your store, go to Store Configuration -> Shipping and Packaging. My guess is that you have your package tare weight left at the default setting of 3 lbs. If so, Your 1lb package is being calculated at 4lb weight ($13.99), and your 5lb item is being calculated at an 8lb weight, which is over your maximum and therefore unable to calculate, if 6lbs is the highest limit you've got there.

Also check your maximum package weight in the same section I mentioned. If your maximum package weight is set at 6, it should automatically split the weight equally into two packages and then provide a calculation that way.
