Contolling the date

Hi I would like to know what file controls the format of the date in database because I'm a Australian and we write the date:

 

dd/mm/yyyy

 

and not:

 

mm/dd/yyyy

 

Also what controls the date to change because the date on my site seems to be a day behind.

also

 

catalog/admin/includes/languages/english.php

 

And any of the other languages you have installed.

 

 

As far as the date.....this is a server issue and needs to be discussed with your host. If your server is not in your time zone there's not much you can do about.
