1nsane Posted May 21, 2004 Share Posted May 21, 2004 Hi all, I was browsing through the list of OSCommerce Live Shops, and came across phlare.com. I too am building a web site based on the OSCommerce software, however I am having a problem trying to figure out how to do something. Similar to phlare.com, I would like to have my entire web site based around the shopping cart software. By this, I mean whenever you go to a different page on the site, you will have the shopping cart visible, and a few other links, etc. I cannot figure out how to bring in pages that are not part of OSC, and include the shopping cart in these pages. Does anybody know how to do this, or if there is a contribution that will allow you to add the cart, and other boxes to your pages, similar to the simple template system, perhaps? You can easily add pages like they did and call them whatever you want and add any of the stuff to the sides, top, bottom, where ever. Here is a contrib to make new pages like their fun stuff page http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,701 You don't need the contrib, I never used it, just do a search for making new pages and you'll find lots of stuff. The contib may be easiest for a beginner, it might explain it, if not, just search the forums Ryan If I was crafty, this would be a funny signature.
