Simple Template System

I'm thinking about trying the Simple Template System.

 

Will most mods geared for Milestone 2.2 work in the Simple Template System?

 

For example, I'd like to install:

 

1. Extra Pages - Info Boxes (you can add pages to info box from admin)

 

2. Purchase With No Account

 

Does anyone know if this will cause problems?

I have been using sts for a while now with many contribs and very little issues at all all problems I have had where not related to sts.

Wow, I love what you've done! Very nice and professional.

 

It's great to break out of the standard OSC mold.

 

I'm so much comfortable working in the HTML format so this seems like the right way to go.

 

I just want the flexibility to add mods as I go along and now I feel more comfortable about that.

when you have installed the contrib pm or email me and I will send you a css file and html template to start you off ok. Just to help you along a little further.

What I am trying to do is create a front html page outside catalog root which has content dragged from the osc catalog.

 

But I havnt had much response from this forum on this question, I think it could be done using includes.

 

This would enhance the osc site even more allowing a full blown designed front page with dynamic content from the cart. mmmm.
