SGershon Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 Hi. I found nothing about this, and maybe it was already discussed before. I would like to track the clients visits. That is: To know that they "searched" --> "entered XXX product page" --> "entered category YYY" --> "entered ZZZ product" --> "added do cart" --> "read the return policy"... Is there a way? Is there something done about this? If not, can we take advantage of the cookie already set by osC? Or do you think it is not useful? Why? At first it seems useful to me, in order to optimize design and layout. SGershon If at first you don't succeed, you must be a programmer. Tip Posted: Languageless Reviews
stevej Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 It sounds like you need something like one of our products. http://www.irismetrics.com/ I imagine it can be done in OSC but on highly trafficked sites you would have an awful lot of strain on the database if a program to track user visit paths was written.
