Guest Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 I'm building my online shop, is it ok?! HK iShop Actually, I just provide the C.O.D. charge. So, this is very simple. This page just support the chinese version (Big5) How about the look?! Welcome to give me comment. Thanks~
wondernet Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 Nice header style, but it doesn't continue into the rest of the page. The (chinese/japanese?) characters put the height out on the info-box title, so there is a little line (1 pixel) at the top where the rounded image doesn't fill.

starcam Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 Although it is a bit like stock after the header down, it still looks good. I like the colors too. I didn't quite like the part right after the header though, where you have the "My Account, Shopping Card and Checkout" in chinese wordings. Because there is already icons right on top of them, why have the wordings below it? Unless you wanted non-english reading customers to see them too? starcam ---------------- give your opinion on my shop: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=89341

May be this is duplicate, but it can be read for english and chinese as you said. On the other hand, may be you are using English Platform windows, so the chinese text look likes not well.
agiftcodotcom Posted May 19, 2004 Posted May 19, 2004 Looks good. The only thing I would suggest, if you can, and by no means is it a must; if you could make the buttons on top actual buttons rather than just text links. If you hold your mouse in the wrong spot and try to click and it goes no-where, it could frustrate customers. And, if you could make them have a mouseover effect, that would be even better. Generally, if you put text on a "button", your guests will be expecting a "button" feel. Hope that makes sense. Contributions I used : Updated 06-13-04 23:42 ---------------- Vote on My Graphis Poll

wondernet Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 different machines have different settings, and mine uses a different font size, thus pushing the height of the table cell. Just coz it works on yours don't mean it works on everyeons. You checked it on a Mac, Linux PC, etc??

wondernet Posted May 21, 2004 Posted May 21, 2004 it's down to how the individual machine/browser combination renders the text/characters. Mine obviously does not render the characters at the same size yours does. Perhaps this is indicative of UK spec'd machines?? Anyone else see this?
Guest Posted May 22, 2004 Posted May 22, 2004 Anyone can go there now?! Is it my web server has some problem?! http://www.hkishop.com
wondernet Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 Anyone can go there now?! Is it my web server has some problem?! http://www.hkishop.com Hmm, still showing same issue. I would recommend making the 'corner_left.gif' and 'corner_right.gif' an extra 1 pixel in height. This would force the layout the 1 pixel it needs to display without this phenomenon. Otherwise, 'tis nice.
