How do I do a special order?

How do I make a special order using prices that I don't really advertise (big discount!). I might get an order for 100 items, if my bid is the winning bid.

If this is a one-time thing, as your use of "bid" leads me to believe, then it would be easiest for you to do a manual order for this one case. There is a contribution to do manual order entry.

 

If this will be a recurring order, I believe there is a contribution that will allow you to have special prices for certain customers, with those prices password-protected. Just give your special customer the password so they can order with your prices.

I like that idea. I just opened and I would like to take bulk orders more often, but I guess we'll wait and see if that happens. I just got my first orders today. :-)

 

I did look in the contributions area and I picked about 7 that I would look through when I get home and see if they would work for my situation. I sell t-shirts, hats, hooded sweat shirts, etc and I would want to have a bulk price for each item. If you have any recommendations, that would be great.

I run a b2b site that needed multiple levels of discount prices, so I used the Price Break contribution (with some personal mods) to give me up to five pricing levels. It works like a charm. I had no need to hide the discount prices, so my store doesn't do that. If you don't mind all of your customers seeing the quantity price breaks, this would probably work for you as well.
