Shared SSL help/setup needed......

I have been through the forums, and found that I need to edit my CONFIGURE file. I edit the "define('HTTPS_SERVER'," line in the configure file(in includes directory). I also edited the "define('ENABLE_SSL'," line and chabged it to true. I then also had to edit the "define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/catalog/');" since "catalog" wasnt there before.

Now everything SEEMS to be working ok.

My question....do I still have to edit the CONFIGURE file in the admin folder, and also the config file in admin/includes folder?

Since I made the changes in the first config file I do not have to enter a password to access the admin section for some reason. Also, the admin page still says the site is not protected by SSL.

Any help on my issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Admin will report protected by ssl only if you access it securely.

ex: normally you go to:

http://www.yoursite.com/catalog/admin

you would have to go securely:

https://www.yoursite.com/catalog/admin

You have to have configured both the configure.php in /admin/includes and /includes. The /admin/includes keeps you from popping out of ssl when working in the admin section (handy when retrieving orders)

Course, I could be wrong :P
