blingblings Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Hiya, I've already setup a working online store but I fear that my only shopping cart (PayPal) is putting non-registered Paypal customers off shopping. Hence, I am looking into new shopping carts, etc. However, I don't want to lose the look of my site or change the layout. I'm worried that if I install osCommerce I will have to re-invent the entire site. I'm pretty useless with scripts, etc and created my site with FrontPage as I find it very easy. So, do you think I could cope with osCommerce and could I install and use it without disrupting the look of my site? Clauds
smiley Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 I've just converted a PayPal site to Osc. If you have a spare MySql database you could install Osc in a sub directory - the default is "catalog" & tinker away while your PayPal site is still active. The osC site with 5 different payment options is generating more business. HTH Neil Common sense is genius dressed in working clothes. Ralph Waldo Emerson
