sac9829 Posted May 18, 2004 Posted May 18, 2004 Hi Guys What is the best way to set up the following: My customer will directly transfer funds into my account either via the internet or a direct deposit at a bank. Only once I receive confirmation (it's available in my bank account) do I ship. I checked out the money order module but it says a check must be posted - that isn't what I want to do. SO my question is do I modify one of the existing payment options either cash on deliver (or money order) OR do I need to add a new one -> "Advance payment"? And how would I go about either modifying or adding a new payment option/module. Can anybody help me!

The comment I have is "Your order will not ship until we receive payment" I don't see why you can't just change that to "Check/Money Order/Bank Transfer" with the same comment... 9 times out of 10 its a PEBCAK Error (Problem exists between chair and keyboard) Replace that and you're fine...
