img tag in html

ok i have added a new page about my store,i have a couple of images i want to have in that page,using standard html i just call the file

<img src=\"something.gif\"> but i dont get a img just the red x i even tried closing the end of my img tag

<img src=\"something.gif\" \> but no luck once i get the image to show im going to change it to a different folder but right now it is in cat/include/langues/english/something.gif

any ideas?

well i am inside of php thats why i had to use the escape i am using the shipping page as an about page and i still want the php stuff on the page i just wantt a cpl of imgs too and not sure how to do it in side php

ok therre i s where the img goes like i say it sees there is a img cause i get the red x but no image shows up it is in same folder should work ,would work in html just fine.

greatttttttttttttttttttttt that worked !!!!!! i dont know why i need to put that path in if its in the same folder but it works thank you now i have to try and put it in other folders and get the path right
