New to Plesk.. HELP!

Hi,

I just switched webhost.. and got a superb one.. only downside is I havent used Plesk before, I did manage to add a database, but how do I manage it, there is no functions for that in Plesk, where is mysql ?

 

BTW. it is on localhost..

When you go into your Plesk control panel you see your domain info.

Go to the 'Databases' and you will see a list of the databases on your domain. Click on the database name (eg MyCart) and the next window shows your database users.

 

Above the users you'll see a box 'PHPMYADMIN'. Click this and it will open that database in MySQL showing the tables etc.

 

Hope this is what you were looking for.

 

(PS this is for PLESK 6 but is similar for previous versions.)
