It's most similar to cash on delivery but of course it isn't... I don't know where to start whether I need to modify an existing payment module i.e. cash on delivery or whether I'm supposed add a new payment module ???"Bank Account Pre-Payment" I wouldn't know where to start with either possiblity either! Clients pay in advance (transfer to yr account) and after you received the funds, you will ship the goods? In that case use the moneyorder_module in admin > modules > shipping If not pls explain how yr bank deposit idea works. "If you're working on something new, then you are necessarily an amateur."
NordicElf Posted May 17, 2004 Author Posted May 17, 2004 Yes, customer will directly transfer funds into my account either via the internet or a direct deposit at a bank. Only once I receive confirmation (it's available in my bank account) do I ship. I checked out the money order module but it says a check must be posted - that isn't what I want to do. SO my question is do I modify one of the existing payment options either cash on deliver (or money order) OR do I need to add a new one -> "Advance payment"? And how would I go about either modifying or adding a new payment option/module. I see my first post wasn't very clear! Thanks

Guest Posted May 20, 2004 Posted May 20, 2004 I also have bank payment directly on my site. I found it on http://www.oscommerce.dk as Danish Bank transfer. It is not difficult. I have translated it to other languages as I have got an international website :huh:

Guest Posted May 21, 2004 Posted May 21, 2004 You added Cash on Pickup? The one from COD+COP v 1.2? If so, I also had problems with that working correctly. But it proofed out to be in the modules.php files. It was better to take the original file from the archive than editing it on your own.
