WYSIWYG Editor 1.7 HTML eamil problem

Recommended Posts

I have been using WYSIWYG Editor 1.7 for product description and it is prefect. Now, I'm trying to use it sending newsletter for my customers and found out if my html email contains table code then the HTML will messed up. I have check on the code of what I send out and what I received. Please see...

If I send out the following:

<table width="100%" border="1">

<tr>

<td> </td>

<td> </td>

<td> </td>

</tr>

<tr>

<td> </td>

<td> </td>

<td> </td>

</tr>

<tr>

<td> </td>

<td> </td>

<td> </td>

</tr>

</table>

Then in my email I got:

<table width=3D"100%" border=3D"1"><br> <tr><br> <td> </td><br> =

<td> </td><br> <td> </td><br> </tr><br> <tr><br> <td>&nb=

sp;</td><br> <td> </td><br> <td> </td><br> </tr><br> <tr>=

<br> <td> </td><br> <td> </td><br> <td> </td><br> =

</tr><br></table>

It does messed up the table with those <br> and the code looks sloppy. I have even tried to create table or enter the html code in the editor direct and it is doing the same thing. Want to know if there is a solution on this?

Also, I have tried disable the WYSIWYG Editor 1.7 and it seems I can't even send HTML email in OSC. Please note, I have already enable the "HTML EMAIL" in the configuration > email under admin.

Please help. How can I send HTML email in OSC. THank you!
