DorianJ Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 After installation, the default store name is 'osCommerce' and that's what shows in the <title></title> tags of the browser. I used the admin tool to change the value of Store Name to something else, however when I load my site, it's still titled 'osCOmmerce'. See for yourself: http://www.my4by.com/. How do I change the title of my site? -Dorian
DorianJ Posted May 16, 2004 Author Posted May 16, 2004 Figured it out. There's a file called 'english.php' located at 'includes/languages/english.php'. There's a section called 'page title' that defines the 'TITLE'. Change the 'osCommerce' in this line to whatever you want. -Dorian
SGershon Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 Congratulations, Dorian. I like when people write the solutions they found out. In this way, other newbies would find your solution instead of posting a new thread about this. Also, spend some time over this english.php file, you will find many other things in there that you will want to customize. Son't forget to visit wiki.oscommerce.com for insights on customizing OSCommerce. If at first you don't succeed, you must be a programmer. Tip Posted: Languageless Reviews

It loves to munge files, so use an offline editor and upload the edited file(s). That way we can look for this parse error. (Please tell us which line is 48). SGershon If at first you don't succeed, you must be a programmer. Tip Posted: Languageless Reviews
