mganeles Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 Hi Everyone, I am php impaired but know html. I know how to use extensions in Dreamweaver (don't laugh cause I'm not writing raw code) - I'm green in this stuff - but want to use a contribution or two. Since modhost, my webhosting service installed the entire osCommerce for me, how do I add a contribution? And I assume a contribution is merely extends the functionality of the program. Thanks for your help - PS I just read all the supporting docs. http://wiki.oscommerce.com/docsIntro Some things made sense and some things went over my head for now. Cheers, Marcia
agiftcodotcom Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 Contributions contain (in some cases), simple edit commands for current files and sometimes all new files. You will need to either FTP and load these and adjust them on your PC or use your Host's control panel if available. Contributions I used : Updated 06-13-04 23:42 ---------------- Vote on My Graphis Poll
mganeles Posted May 16, 2004 Author Posted May 16, 2004 Thanks Eric, That's what I figured. Seems really easy. I just don't know where to put them...which folder, etc. There are so many files and folders to modify. I'll download some and see if they come with instructions for installation or uploading. Unless you have more info on this? Marcia
